Wash the lemon to get rid of any dirt that may be on the peel.
Cut the lemon in half - wrap the other half in beeswax food wrap or plastic and store in the fridge.
Cut the remaining lemon into slices.
Add the slices to 8 oz of warm or room tempertaure water.
