Ingredients
- 5 dates
- 1 cup almonds soaked overnight
- 3 1/2 cups water
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Soak almonds over night. In the morning drain them
- In a high speed blender, blend almonds with 3 1/2 cups fresh water on high for 1 min
- Use cheesecloth to strain almond milk into a bowl
- Return almond milk to blender and add dates, turmeric, cinnamon and vanilla.
- blend on high for 30 seconds or until all is smooth.
- Serve at room temperature or heat in pan if you prefer it hot.
