Today marks #WorldEnvironmentDay, which was first held in as an initiative started by the United Nations to raise awareness about environmental issues. World Environment Day, which has been celebrated each June 5th , has illuminated environmental concerns such as global warming, pollution, and overpopulation.
The challenge that we face is how to maintain the 17% drop in greenhouse gas emissions that we saw in April 2020 as a result of COVID-19 once our lives return to some semblance of normal.
In celebration of #WorldEnvironmentDay, we wanted to share pass along some more detail about Good Life Organics’ partnership with Trees for the Future, which we first alluded to during our 10th Anniversary Week last month.
Trees for the Future has planted 180 million trees to date to help combat the effects of climate change and improve the lives of impoverished farmers by revitalizing degraded lands.
This mission statement aligns so closely with our values and our ongoing commitment to the local farmers that are the most important part of what we do. With the 10,000 trees that our partnership with Trees for the Future has produced over the

past year, we are well on our way towards creating a meaningful way to combat environmental changes.
Our ultimate goal is to capture the spirit of #WorldEnvironmentDay by furthering our support of Trees for the Future with donations that allow us to say that for each box of organic fruits and vegetables that we deliver, we will be planting a tree. Immediately offsetting the material used to create each box is something that is meaningful to us and to our customers.
We look forward to keeping you posted on our progress!
Wishing you a happy and healthy World Environment Day.
